Over the past few months, we’ve seen design blogs, stylish furniture designers, and cool spaces like the Wing ditch the boxy furniture for hip pieces with rounded edges—and we are so here for it.
Don’t get us wrong: We love furniture and accessories of all shapes. However, curvy pieces energize a room in a way their square counterparts can’t. And when draped in cheery colors or plush fabrics? Even better.

But it’s a decorating truism.
A spray painted number on a basket makes everything cuter.
I’ve used them in butler’s pantries.
And in bookcases in navy and white and red rooms to hold books.
