Mirror Magic

Magazines often feature the most beautifully decorated rooms but they are large rooms and not comparable to our own homes. As for me, I prefer a more “intimate” space.

However, you can make any room look bigger. One way is to use mirrors and reflective finishes, from bed frames to side tables, to create a vista, bright light into dark spaces and create faux doorways or windows, all of which make any room seem bigger.

Mirrors are an affordable and fun way to create space.

The Charm of Old Mirrors

Decorating a home does not have to be inexpensive. There are two staples that I use when staging homes or suggesting improvements to interior decor.

The first is mirrors and the second is plates. It is amazing what you can do with both and they are affordable works of “art” that will enhance any interior.
